Are Coffee Bags Compostable?

As a coffee roaster, are your coffee bags compostable? How do you think to use compostable bags to pack coffee? Although we have developed compostable bags for some years, they are also a new topic for many roasters because mostly roasters also use regular plastic coffee bags.

Compostable bags can be industrial compostable and home compostable. Industrial compostable bags can be degradable within 6-8 months by about 60 ℃in the high temperature and microorganism by some machines. And home compostable bags can be degradable in about 10 months by about 30 ℃ in the soil. They will be into water and CO².

Compostable bags also are with high barrier to pack coffee freshness about 1 year. Sure that it will be better to enjoy the coffee as early as possible. They also can be customized with logo and printing for your brand. Fully compostable coffee bags are with compostable valve and ziplock. You will find the compostable coffee bags are as good as the current regular coffee bags.
