About BioPack: Sustainable Flexible Packaging Made Practical

Packaging Made for Products, Brands and the World Beyond the Shelf

BioPack manufactures custom flexible packaging for organic food, coffee, tea, snacks, confectionery, supplements and other better-for-you products.

Based in Jiangmen, Guangdong, we work with brands, roasters, food producers and packaging distributors around the world. Our packaging range includes stand-up pouches, flat-bottom bags, side-gusset bags, sachets, rollstock and cold-seal films, with compostable, recyclable, recycled-content and paper-based material options available.

Sustainability is an important part of what we do, but it is never considered in isolation. A package must protect the product, run reliably during filling, look right on the shelf and remain commercially practical to produce.

That is where every BioPack project begins.
BioPack's Sustainable Packaging Solutions
Why BioPack Was Created
More brands are looking for alternatives to conventional flexible packaging. The reasons are understandable: customers are paying closer attention to waste, governments are introducing new packaging requirements, and businesses are under pressure to make more responsible material choices.

However, changing packaging is rarely as simple as replacing one plastic film with another.

A packaging material can carry an attractive environmental claim and still be unsuitable for the product inside.

BioPack was created to help brands work through these decisions more carefully. Rather than promoting one material as the answer to every packaging problem, we look at the product, the expected shelf life, the filling process, the destination market and the intended disposal route.

The aim is straightforward: develop packaging that makes sense in practice, not only in a presentation.

Why BioPack Focuses on Sustainable Flexible Packaging

Recently, an increasing number of small, medium and large businesses have stated their intention to become carbon neutral by 2030. Prompted by growing concerns about the environmental impact of the organic food supply chain, both big and small businesses have made it their priority to reduce carbon emissions in whatever way they can. This is the reason why we became a sustainable packaging manufacturer.

Circular Economy

The negative impact of human activities on the environment has become unprecedented. Moving towards a circular economy means rethinking and reimagining systems from the ground up. We don't take the easy path, we take into account all key ecological, social, economic, functional and disposal considerations. Nature provides many of the direct resources needed to drive our economies and sustain the survival of our species. Some of these resources, like fossil fuels, metals and minerals, are finite and non-renewable. On the contrary, the resources like crops, timber and livestock are renewable.

With our sustainable packaging materials and components, our mission is to promote a circular economy in the organic food industry. This is achieved both through our compostable materials (PLA,NK Cellophane,PBS) and our recyclable materials (LDPE,Green PE,PCR PE).

Carbon Neutrality

As the effects of global warming are increasingly felt around the world, it’s become almost impossible for businesses to ignore the growing calls for change. As a result, many businesses, both big and small, have announced their intention to become carbon neutral by 2030. Typically through a combination of green investments and offsetting initiatives, the central idea is that, in less than a decade, the net release of CO2 for these companies will be zero.
Sustainable Packaging Solutions
Sustainable packaging bags are an effective way for specialty organic food industries to reduce their carbon footprints. Clearly, reducing carbon emissions should be a priority for all specialty organic food manufacturers, not just for the success of their business, but for the future of organic food. One of the most effective ways of working towards net-zero carbon emissions is by switching to more sustainable packaging.

We offer a range of recyclable, biodegradable, and compostable bags for organic food. We use 100% recyclable and 100% compostable zipper, the materials are BPA-free.
