Developed for horizontal flow-wrapping equipment, the film uses a pressure-activated cold seal coating to form reliable seals without applying high heat close to the frozen product. The material structure, printing layout, cold seal pattern and roll specifications can all be adjusted to match your product and packaging line.

Is compostable film suitable for frozen popsicles?

Why is cold seal used for popsicle packaging?

Can this film run on an existing packaging machine?

Is the cold seal adhesive compostable?
The cold seal adhesive must be evaluated together with the film, inks, coatings and other components. It should not be assumed to be compostable solely because the base film is compostable.
Can you produce several flavor designs?
Yes. Multiple flavors can be produced using digital, flexographic or gravure printing. The most suitable method depends on the quantity and number of designs.
What is the minimum order quantity?
MOQ depends on the selected material, printing method, roll size, coating pattern and number of SKUs. Shorter runs may be possible with digital printing.
Can BioPack provide a machine trial roll?
Yes. Trial rolls are available for new film structures, new machines and customers changing from conventional plastic to compostable packaging.
Can the film meet EN 13432 or ASTM requirements?
Materials aligned with EN 13432, ASTM D6400 or ASTM D6868 can be considered. Final certification and claim eligibility depend on the complete packaging structure and applicable testing.
Can BioPack guarantee the product shelf life?
We can recommend a structure for a target shelf life, but final shelf life must be verified by the food producer using the actual product, packing process and storage conditions.
